Technical Tip: Keeping the selected login page language after login

When an admin or user chose a language other than English on the login page, the interface would switch back to the default English language after logging in.

Starting from FortiPortal versions 7.2.8 and 7.4.4, a new CLI option has been introduced that allows the system to keep the selected language after login to either the admin or customer portal.

This feature is disabled by default, which can be enabled using the following CLI commands:

config system admin setting
    set remember-language-choice-after-login enable
end

Once this command is applied, FortiPortal will remember and retain the language chosen on the login page for both the admin and customer portals.
