| Solution | On FortiPortal (as per version 7.4.8), the following profiles (and their profile type) are predefined on the system:
These profiles can be tied to particular users, and FortiPortal also allows reconfiguring the settings on them. However, the settings of the predefined profiles will always be reset to their default settings after an upgrade. This means that all of the previously defined settings are lost.
To resolve the issue of a customized profile being lost and reset to default after an upgrade of FortiPortal, follow these steps:
When the upgrade is done to version 7.4.9 or higher, the settings as configured on the default profiles do not reset to the original values, so they can be kept. |
