Solution

1. If the error message 'failed to register new center' appears when adding the FortiNDR sensor to the FortiNDR Center, like the screenshot below, follow the steps below to fix the issue.
   
   

   

2. Run the CLI command below in both the FortiNDR Center and Sensor.
   
   

execute db restore 

3. Verify the result by re-adding the FortiNDR Sensor to Center, and it should be working.
