Troubleshooting Tip: Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 are not selectable in Endpoint Compliance Policies

When a network admin navigates to Policy -> Policy Configuration -> Scans -> Custom Scans and creates a new custom scan, the admin may notice that Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server R2 are omitted.

Workaround: 

Network Sentry should be configured with the following operating systems for Windows 2008 Server and Windows 2008 Server R2:

Select Vista for Windows Server 2008.

Select Windows 7 for Windows Server 2008 R2.

• Domain Verification
• File
• Hot Fixes
• Processes
• Prohibited Domain Verification
• Prohibited Processes
• Registry Keys
• Registry Version
