This article describes the causes of Registration Failure with an 'Unable to Find Host' message.
 
This error typically occurs due to one of the following reasons:
  • The host shows as offline (grey adapter icon in Adapter or Host View).
  • The IP address is not found.

FortiNAC versions 8.x, 9.x & F 7.x.


Solution

 

If the host shows offline, confirm the following:
If the IP address is not found:
