Troubleshooting Tip: No Endpoint Compliance Policy Displayed
Description
This article describes an issue that occurs where, when viewing the Policy Details of a Host in Host View, the Endpoint Compliance tab shows as blank when it is expected to match an Endpoint Compliance Policy.
Scope
Scope
FortiNAC, Version: Network Sentry 8.
Solution
This is expected behavior when a host is a member of the Forced Scan Exceptions group. The Forced Scan Exceptions group contains hosts that do not participate in endpoint compliance scans. Leaving the policy blank indicates the host as currently configured cannot match any scan.
To verify group membership, right-click on the host in Host View and select Group Membership.
Solution: If the host should not be a member of this group, remove the host from the Forced Scan Exceptions group. De-select the box next to Forced Scan Exceptions and select OK.
