Troubleshooting Tip: Newly added SSID or VLAN does not appear in Toplogy

Description

This article describes how to handle a scenario where a newly configured SSID does not appear under the SSIDs tab in Topology, or under VLANs when selecting Read VLANs.

FortiNAC does not automatically learn of new SSIDs and VLANs as they are configured on the device. 

Scope

Version: 8.x.

Solution

In order to read new SSIDs and VLANs, follow one of these processes:

Option 1:

1. Select the device in the left panel.
2. Right-click and select Resync Interfaces.
   

Option 2:

1. Right-click on the model and select Network Access/VLANs.
2. Select Read VLANs.
