Troubleshooting Tip: Logged in users do not see host view when using Login Script
Description
This article describes the behavior where the Logged user does not display in Host View when using Login/Logout VBS scripts.
Scope
Version: 9.x, F7.x.
Solution
Ensure the following for the directory referenced in the Login script for the variable 'DIRECTORY_SERVER':
- Is listed as a pingable device in Network -> Inventory.
- Has the account of the logged-on user ID.
- Is configured as a directory under System -> Settings Authentication -> LDAP.
