Solution
Issue: For hosts running the Persistent Agent using USB adapters for a wired connection, and for hosts connecting via a docking station (such as Thunderbolt connections), the adapters are not always associated with the correct host. Instead, separate host records are created for each adapter. This behavior is observed when 'Registration by the Persistent Agent' is disabled (the Enable Registration box is not selected under System -> Settings -> Persistent Agent -> Credential Configuration).
