Technical Tip: Restrict access to hosts in the 'isolation' vlan

Description
Existing network infrastructure is leveraged to move unknown and at risk hosts to an "isolation" VLAN.  In a typical configuration, the appliance's eth1 interface acts as the DHCP and DNS server for hosts in these VLANs.

In order to prevent isolated hosts from accessing network resources, firewall rules or ACL rules must be applied.  The appliance does not act as a router.

For more information on installation, configuration and requirements, refer to the Deployment Guide.
