Technical Tip: Policy evaluation not triggered after Microsoft InTune updates

A policy evaluation may not be triggered after a status update from InTune. Consequently, newly updated hosts in InTune may not be moved to the proper network (Example: appliance does not move a newly registered host in InTune from isolation).

This behavior has been observed when hosts are online at the time of the InTune update.

Workaround

Option 1: Decrease L2 polling interval of wireless controller.
Option2:  Have host disconnect and re-connect to the network.
