Technical Tip: macOS Big Sur 11.1 not being detected
Description
This article describes an issue when Machines running macOS Big Sur 11.1 are not detected. When configuring a scan, Mac-OS-X Operating-System lists Big Sur 10.6 and 11.0, but not 11.1.
Scope
FortiNAC v: 8.x.
Solution
Addressed in auto-definition update posted 1/5/2021 (current, week1, week2, week3 and week4 updates).
Specify the minimum version of 11.x required.
- In the macOS operating system list of the scan, select Big Sur 11.0.
- The field, which used to say 'Require at least Version 11.0.X', now says 'Require at least Version 11.X'.
