Technical Tip: macOS agents are not natively compatible with M1 processor

This article describes the issue when the agents for macOS systems are not natively compatible with M1 processors.

Solution
Macs with M1 processors should run as expected as long as Rosetta is installed. Rosetta is Apple's translation layer to run x86_64 applications on the Apple M1 architecture. This restriction is noted under the Compatibility section of the v5.2.6 Agent Release Notes.
Workaround:
- Install Rosetta on the macOS workstation.
- Select the agent application.
- Press Command-I.
- Tick the 'Open using Rosetta' check box.
