Technical Tip: Logging on a User does not trigger a VLAN switch until the next L2 Poll

Description
Network access policy VLAN switching based on Logged On User does not occur until the next Layer 2 Poll of the network infrastructure.

The host can remain on an unintended VLAN until the next scheduled L2 Poll occurs.

Scope
Version: 8.7.

Solution
Workaround: Set a low L2 Polling interval.

Solution:  Addressed in versions 8.7.5 and 8.8.1
