Technical Tip: Gaming Registration 'Device Types' field is Modifiable

This article describes how to modify field 'Device Types' field for Gaming Registration and have the possibility to choose the type of the gaming device.

Solution
The Gaming Registration page (http(s)://hostname.domain.tld/registration/GameRegister.jsp) has a Device Types drop-down list where users can select the type of gaming device they are registering. Examples are Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft XBox 360, etc.
This drop down is for descriptive purposes only and can be changed without affecting functionality.
To edit this field, navigate to Portal Configuration -> Game Device Registration and edit the Device Types field.
Use the format "<Value>,<Name>:" where...
Name=Option displayed in the drop-down.
Value=Displayed in the "Hardware Type" field in Host view after registration.
Click APPLY to save changes.
