Technical Tip: Enable client to specify sponsor email for Self-Registration approval
Description
Require the ability to allow the user requesting Self-Registration approval to provide the email address of the Sponsor.

Solution
Versions Prior to 8.5:
1. Navigate to System > Portal Configuration
2. Under the Content Editor tab, expand Registration
3. Click Self Registration Login
4. Ensure the Default Sponsor Email field is blank. This will display the Sponsor Email field to the end client
The address entered in the Sponsor Email field by the end user will be used to forward the Registration request. Note the following:
- The email recipient (Sponsor) must be an Admin User
- The email must be populated in the Sponsor's User account information
Versions 8.5.0 - 8.5.3 and 8.6.0 - 8.6.1:
1. Navigate to System > Portal Configuration
5. Using the drill down next to Sponsor Input Type, select Input
6. Click Apply
Versions 8.5.4, 8.6.2 and above:
1. Navigate to System > Portal Configuration
1. Navigate to System > Portal Configuration
2. Under the Content Editor tab, expand Registration
3. Click Self Registration Login
4. Click the checkbox next to Require Sponsor Approval5. Using the drill down next to Sponsor Input Type, select Input
6. Click Apply
Versions 8.5.4, 8.6.2 and above:
1. Navigate to System > Portal Configuration
2. Under the Content Editor tab, expand Registration
3. Click Self Registration Login
4. Using the drill down next to Required Sponsor Approval, select the minimum required level of user to sponsor a Guest. The options below are ordered from least secure to most secure:Email Addresses from an Allowed Domain

An Administrator with Self Registration Permissions
5. Using the drill down next to Sponsor Input Type, select Input
6. Click Apply
