Technical Tip: Customizing sponsor mail for self-registration requests and text templates related to registration / approval / deny messages in Portal Settings

1) Create the  customized message templates that are sent to notify the sponsor of incoming requests.  

- Go to System -> Settings -> System Communication -> Email/SMS Message Templates.

- Select Add to create a new template or Modify to edit an existing template.

- Enter a Template Name and Email Subject.

- Enter an HTML message in the Message field.

- Select 'OK'.

2) Apply the created sponsor mail template in the appropriate portal settings.

 - Go to Portal -> Portal Configuration -> Self Registration Login.

- Select the template to use under Sponsor Message Template.

Also, for specific environment requirements,  registration / approval / deny messages  need to be displayed in other languages and not in the default English language.

These templates can also be modified in Portal Settings.

1) Self Registration Login.

- System/Portal Configuration.

- In the menu on the left side, please expand on Registration topic.

- Go to the 'Self Registration Login' option.

- On Section regarding Sponsor you can edit the fields , refer to the screenshot below.

- Select 'Apply'.

2) Custom User Registration Portal.

- System/Portal Configuration.

- In the menu on the left side, expand on Custom User Registration Portal.

- On the right side, it is possible to edit/translate the text needed between the brackets <p>, refer to screenshot below.
