Technical Tip: Configure aging for IP Phones
Description
This article describes how to automatically remove stale IP Phone host records from the database. The settings under System -> Settings -> User/Host Management -> Aging do not apply to host records with the device type 'IP Phone'.

Solution
This can be accomplished through the use of group aging properties. The IP Phone host records are placed in a host group and aging is configured for that group.
