Solution
Issue:
Using Kaspersky 2016 on hosts in registration will lead to inconsistent and unpredictable results. The browser redirect displays 'ERR_CONNECTION_RESET'.
Kaspersky 16 has a feature called Kaspersky Security Network (KSN). With KSN enabled, Kaspersky 16 detects the Network Sentry DNS redirect to the captive portal as not secure and produces an error.
Workaround:
Disable the Kaspersky product until the device is registered.
