Technical Tip: Allowed characters on FortiNAC backup server passwords

This article describes that certain special characters are not able to be used with the FortiNAC for passwords setup for remote FTP backup.

Most characters pose no problems. Do not use 'or = in the FTP password when setting up FortiNAC remote backups. Try to not use characters as [, ], ', <, >. It depends on the remote backup server as well which characters are usable.
For testing only, use a simple password and see whether the connection and backup works.
Then change the password to a productive password and test again.
