Technical Note: SSIDs removed after failure to read Aruba devices
Description
If appliance fails to read the SSIDs of an Aruba Instant AP (IAP) or controller, the existing SSIDs already associated with the device model are deleted (consequently removing SSID configuration and group membership).

Solution
Command is available in the following appliance versions:
Aruba Controller: 8.3 and above
Aruba IAP: 8.7.5, 8.8.1 and higher
To prevent this from occurring, run the following command in the CLI. Contact Support for assistance.
device -ip <IP of IAP or controller> -setAttr -name PreserveSSIDs -value true
device -ip <IP of IAP or controller> -setAttr -name PreserveSSIDs -value true
