Technical Note: MDM integrations fail after upgrade to 8.3

Description
MDM Services are unavailable after upgrade to 8.3.  Symptoms include:

• Communication with integrated MDM stops. 
• In the Administration UI, unable to access System > Settings > System Communication > MDM Services

Affects appliances with Base and Plus Licenses.  Pro licenses are unaffected.

Workaround:  Contact Support for a fix.

Workaround:
1.  Download the patch files for 8.3.x from the Mantis ticket (Attached Files section):

CMOptionsPlugins.jsp
2.  On the Control Server, copy primaryHeader.jsp to /bsc/campusMgr/ui/ROOT/common
3.  On the Control Server, copy CMOptionsPlugins.jsp to /bsc/campusMgr/ui/ROOT

Fixed in upcoming releases 8.3.7 and 8.5.0
