Issue: Layer 2 polling can suddenly stop occurring on network devices to which Network Sentry utilizes SNMP v1 to perform the poll. This is due to an issue with the SNMP v1 stack.
Solution: Addressed with the new SNMP stack included with Network Sentry versions 8.2.x and 8.1.4.
