Issue: When isolated, the Captive Portal page displays as a white page with no text when using Internet Explorer. Other browsers display the page correctly.
When accessing the portal using IE, Compatibility Mode is forced to an older document mode (7). The Captive Portal does not work with earlier IE modes.
Workaround:
From affected IE browser, type F12.
Click the Emulation tab.
Change Document Mode option from 7 to 8.
Solution: Addressed in Network Sentry version 8.1.1.
