Help Desk Users are Denied Access to Administrative UI

Scope
Version: Network Sentry 8.x
Solution
Version: Network Sentry 8.x


Issue: When user tries to login to Admin UI using an operator level account, they get a pop-up "You do not have permission to access this page."

When in this state, the Admin Profile shows "Landing Page = None" under the Permissions tab.  Additionally, there are no other options from the landing page drop down menu.


Workaround: Restart Tomcat-admin service.


Solution: 
This behavior is currently under investigation.  Contact Support for assistance.
