Technical Note: Cannot see hosts connected to upgraded switch or router

Solution
Update the version attribute of the device. Then, re-read the interface information from the device, and perform an L2 poll to read the MAC address table.
1. Login to the appliance CLI:
updateversion -ip <ip address of switch/router>
2. In the Administration UI, navigate to Network Devices > Topology.
3. Click on the device model.
4. Right-click and select Resync Interfaces.
5. Right-click and select Poll for L2 (Hosts) Info.
After upgrading the firmware of a switch or router, in rare occasions hosts may not be seen on the switch ports in Topology View. Instead all of the switch ports that have hosts connected appear green.
