Description
Solution
Ajax Error in IE When Registering Host in Adapter View
Solution
Issue: The Adapter view displays an Ajax error when registering host using Internet Explorer.
This is due to a bug in Internet Explorer (Microsoft Connect IE bug 944330). Refer to the below article:
https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedbackdetail/view/944330/invalid-argument-error-when-changing-nodevalue-of-a-text-node-removed-by-setting-innerhtml-on-an-ancestor
The bug specifically affects the Wait Dialog that shows when loading when any additional text is supplied.
Solution: Based on the article, this issue appears to have been fixed in Microsoft Edge and not planned to be fixed in IE.
