Technical Tip: How to remove a Metric template association

1) Un-apply the template from the instances.

This can be done at the template level or at the instance level.

2) Remove the template association (to preserve the metric) which is the first option.

3) After that, it is completed.

Remove the metric from the template and re-apply it to the instances.  Removing the metric from the template is done on the Monitoring Config tab.  

4)Then, re-apply the template to the instance.

The selected metric will not have a template association.
