Description This article describes how to configure Onsight heartbeat settings to receive alert notifications when an Onsight collector goes down. The user can follow these steps to set up the heartbeat timeout and alert timeline for their Onsight.

Solution

To configure Onsight heartbeat settings, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Onsight -> Edit Details.

  2. Expand the Onsight Health tab.
  3. Configure the heartbeat timeout and the alert timeline for this Onsight.

This ensures heartbeat alerts are sent out after not hearing from the Onsight for the set number of minutes. And alerts are triggered according to the defined timeline.
