Description

This articles explains what to do when ADOM upgrade readiness report shows errors.

Scope

FortiManager.

Solution

Starting from FortiManager v7.4.7 ADOM upgrade readiness tool is introduced to check potential issues.

If ADOM upgrade readiness shows any errors, take the following steps:

  1. Take FortiManager backup.

  2. Run the integrity check command: Technical Tip: How to check FortiManager database integrity prior to firmware upgrade.

  3. If integrity check commands do not fix the errors, open a Technical Support ticket - Customer Service Tip: How to create a ticket for Fortinet TAC - and share the following details:

    • Download the readiness report by selecting either 'Export to PDF' or 'Export to CSV'.

    • FortiManager configuration backup (along with the backup password).

TAC support will test the config and suggest the procedure to fix the errors.
