Description This article describes how to troubleshoot when the user is unable to upgrade an ADOM due to 'Fail (errno=131):datasrc invalid. object: system zone.' error.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

  1. To investigate further, use the following debug command:

diagnose debug service dvmdb 255

diagnose debug enable

  1. Search for the interface name 'HACE-HDA' in the debug output:

  1. The debug shows 'error:dynamic_mapping.local-int HACE-HDA'. Verify the interface in Normalized Interface settings.

  1. In the device database of the FortiGate, the network interface does not exist:

  1. The normalized interface in step (4) is mapped to a non-existence interface. After deleting the mapping in step (4), the ADOM can be upgraded successfully.
