Description

This article describes how to resolve an issue in FortiManager where the monitor (located under Device Manager -> Monitor or SD-WAN Manager -> Network) displays Health Check Data as 'Not Available' or shows outdated and incorrect data for managed devices.

This condition is typically triggered following a firmware upgrade or after modifying SD-WAN configurations, causing the GUI monitor to fail to reflect the newly applied changes.

Scope

FortiManager.

Solution

To resolve this issue, manually resynchronize the database cache and clear the GUI cache. Perform the following steps via the FortiManager CLI:

  1. Resync the database cache.

The dbcache may be out of sync with the current configuration. Force a manual resync by running the following command:

diagnose cdb upgrade force-retry resync-dbcache

  1. Clear the GUI data cache.

Clear the graphical interface cache to ensure the monitor fetches and displays the latest data:

execute remove gui-data-cache

Note: If the issue persists after executing both commands, contact Support for further assistance.
