Description This article describes how to address issues when FortiManager shows the error 'The device’s serial number does not match database' when adding FortiAnalyzer.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

This issue occurs when FortiAnalyzer is added to FortiManager via Add Device -> Discover Device.

After the IP address and credentials are entered, FortiManager shows an error as below:

To resolve this issue, add FortiAnalyzer to FortiManager using the Add FortiAnalyzer Wizard.
