Troubleshooting Tip: FortiManager Policy Table changes in newer versions

This article describes the changes in the FortiManager Policy Table in newer versions.

Scope

FortiManager v7.4.9, v7.6.5, v8.0.0.

Solution

To enhance user experience when scrolling through a long policy list with variable row heights, the following feature was implemented in FortiManager:

Cap all policy rows at 3 lines, like in FortiOS.

This change was introduced in FortiManager versions 7.4.9, 7.6.5, and 8.0.0.

Starting from FortiManager v7.6.7, a new CLI command has been added to Configure Maximum Objects per Policy Table Row (Range: 3–100):
