Description This article describes possible items that can be checked in the event where the column order in FortiManager‘s Device Manager is not saved when starting a new session.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

The default column order in Device Manager is as follows:

1. default order.png

This order can be changed by dragging the column header or by dragging the header name in the column settings menu:

2. change order.gif

The column order should persist, even after logout/login, or web browser exit. This is because the column order information is stored in the web browser itself.

In the case where the column order resets to default upon web browser exit, the following items can be checked:

  1. Ensure site data is not cleared on browser exit. The following image shows an example of the configuration on Google Chrome browser (Settings -> Privacy and security -> Site Settings -> Additional content settings -> On-device site data):

    3. chrome config.png
  2. Ensure the same machine/computer is used to access FortiManager.
  3. Ensure the same browser is used to access FortiManager.
