Description

This article describes how to troubleshoot when a user with the No_Permission_User admin profile can make the changes.

Scope

FortiManager.

Solution

After a user with a No_Permission_User admin profile logs in to FortiManager, verify that the No_Permission_User admin account can perform changes:

  1. In FortiManager, go to System Settings -> Administrator and check if 'user1' is assigned the correct admin profile.

  1. If 'user1' is assigned to the correct admin profile, then go to the No_Permission_User admin profile to check whether the configuration is set to Read/Write, Read, or None.

If the No_Permission_User admin profile setting is different, that means the No_Permission_User admin profile setting was changed at some point.

By default, the No_Permission_User admin profile has all options set to None.

  1. In FortiManager, go to System Settings -> Event Logs and search for the related log information.
