This is possible from CLI configuration management of the respected FortiGate.
Make sure the CLI configuration is turned in from tools first.
'CHECK-ALL' if not sure what to enable display options, no harm in doing that.
After that got to System-> Interface -> Port Number-> Dns-Server-Override.
Finally, When the unit setting is installed to the respected FortiGate, make sure to see its getting pushed through 'INSTALL PREVIEW' before install.
