Technical Tip: How to reduce FortiManager config backup size (.dat file)

If the FortiManager config is getting too big, follow the commands in this article to clear space.

Some commands may not be available in all FortiManager versions.

diagnose dvm remove unused-ips-packages
diagnose fmupdate del-log
exec reset hitcount

exec remove resync <- Since FortiManager version 6.2.8 and 6.4.4 as well as 7.0.
