Technical Tip: How to enable FortiGate Features Visibility via FortiManager

Some FortiGate features may be hidden at the GUI level while working properly through CLI.

Those features can be shown via GUI by enabling them directly on the FortiGate or by pushing the device settings from the FortiManager.

FortiGate (GUI):

FortiGate (CLI):

From FortiManager:

1. Select the ADOM (if there are multiple).
2. Select Device Manager.
3. Choose the device or VDOM.
4. Enable the CLI Configuration (if it is not already visible).
   
   

5. FortiGate Features Visibility can be configured here: CLI Configurations -> System ->  Settings.
   
   

Note:

Multiple devices can be configured at the same time by creating a FortiManager CLI Script and selecting Run Script in the section 'Device Database'.
