Technical Tip: How to disable FortiGate cloud logging via FortiManager

Description

 

This article describes how to disable FortiGate cloud logging via FortiManager.

 

Solution

 

1) Navigate to the managed FortiGate under Device Manager and enable 'CLI Configurations' under Display Options.

2) Under 'CLI Configurations' tab, goto log -> fortiguard -> setting and toggle the status to OFF.

3) Install the Device Settings with Install Wizard and go through the installation preview before submitting the installation.

 

4) Once the installation is completed, verify that FortiGate cloud logging is disabled on the FortiGate.
