| Solution | In a FortiManager HA setup, the active device manages and distributes updates to managed devices. The standby FortiManager does not actively manage devices or distribute updates. Hence, it is expected that the FortiGuard package status on the standby device shows as 'Never Updated'. If the active FortiManager fails, the standby FortiManager will take over as the active unit and begin managing the devices and distributing updates, including FortiGuard packages, to the managed devices to ensure they continue to receive necessary updates.
