Description This article describes how to configure proxy chaining on FortiManager for transparent web rules. It provides a step-by-step guide to resolve the issue of the webproxy-forward-server option not being available under the Proxy-Policy options for transparent web rules.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

To configure proxy chaining on FortiManager for transparent web rules, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Policy Package -> Proxy Policy and create a new policy with the option transparent-web.
  2. Then, go to the CLI-configurations option within the same policy package menu.
  3. Select the new proxy policy that was created and go to the webproxy-forward-server option.
  4. Configure the webproxy-forward-server option as needed.
