Technical Tip: Behavior of remote access feature in FortiCloud when FortiGate is connected to FortiGate Cloud and FortiManager Cloud

Remote Access in FortiCloud allows administrators to manage FortiGate firewalls from anywhere through a secure tunnel.

The screenshot below shows that FortiGate is connected to FortiGate Cloud:

The screenshot below shows that the Remote Access feature is enabled:

The screenshot below shows that the FortiGate is connected to FortiManager Cloud:

The Remote Access feature is disabled when connected to FortiManager Cloud:

This is expected behavior of Remote Access in FortiCloud when FortiGate is connected to FortiManager Cloud.
GUI Remote Access is not supported on FortiManager Cloud. However, Remote access to FortiGate using SSH is supported.
