This article explains how to enable any security profile on FortiManager firmware version 5.4.
Solution
FortiManager v5.4 has only some security profiles enabled by default. If other profiles are required then they will have to be enabled.
In order to enable the security profiles, login with an administrator account and go to:
After selecting the profile and saving the change, all selected profiles should then be displayed under Security Profiles.

Policy & Objects > Tools > Display options > Security profilesSelect the security profile that is required.
