Description This article describes how an invalid line can corrupt an email header.
Scope FortiMail.
Solution

Some users reported that certain emails are not fully readable. Specifically, parts of the header that appear within the email body become unreadable - for example, a blank line containing a semicolon (;) that was added by the previous relay.

The sending or relay system must be corrected to prevent insertion of invalid or standalone lines (such as a blank line with ';') within the header section. According to RFC 5322 section 2.1, an empty line (or an invalid header line) indicates the end of the header section.
