To resolve the issue of FortiMail memory gradually increasing due to the expiremail daemon, follow these steps:

1. If the FortiMail memory usage has been continuously increasing after upgrading to version 7.6.4, with no specific daemon using the most memory usage in the output of CLI 'diagnose system top', but a notable number of expiremail daemons are running.

2. A lot of leftover 'expiremail' daemons will be observed if the CLI command 'diagnose debug tools process list' is executed in FortiMail.

3. The workaround is to reboot the FortiMail, which can temporarily bring down the memory usage, but eventually, the FortiMail memory usage will still gradually increase.

4. Upgrade to FortiMail v7.6.5 GA, which includes a fix for the expiremail memory enhancement issue.
