Troubleshooting Tip: Disclaimer not applied for all messages

| Scope | FortiMail all versions. |
| Solution | By default, FortiMail has the setting to insert the disclaimer on selected emails where this disclaimer is not inserted in all messages.
Using GUI: This can be changed on the 6.4.x versions. Go to Security -> Other -> Preference -> Change 'Disclaimer insertion' from 'Selected message' to 'All messages'.
For 7.0.x and 7.2.x versions, this can be changed on System -> Mail setting -> Preference, change 'Disclaimer insertion' from 'Selected message' to 'All messages'.
Using CLI: From version 6.4.3 to 7.6.x this can be done by using the following commands:
config mailsetting preference set disclaimer-instertion all-message end |
