Troubleshooting Tip: Cannot release user quarantined email using web release from quarantine report

| Solution | In this scenario, the recipient received the quarantine report from the email but releasing the user quarantine email via web release action failed.
When selecting the web release action, it will send an HTTP or HTTPS request to the FortiMail unit. FortiMail will use the web release link from the 'Quarantine Report' settings for 'Web release host name/IP'. If this setting is left blank, FortiMail will use the FQDN of the FortiMail unit which is <host-name>.<local-domain-name>. For more details, refer to the 'Configuring DNS records for the FortiMail unit itself' section in the FortiMail 7.6.3 administration guide.
To release the user quarantine email successfully using the web release, the web release link must be able to resolved by the computer and the HTTP or HTTPS is accessible in the FortiMail unit. The successful web release quarantined email will appear like the following example:
