Technical Tip: Unable to release quarantine email for one domain only

This article describes what to do if it is not possible to release quarantine emails for one domain only.

FortiMail v7.0.

1. The below error prompts out when we try to releasethe  quarantine email.

2. When the mail event log is checked, it will show this error 'QuarantineException( 4 ), QuarantineImpl.cpp:199, 'Non policy matched user@domain.com'.

3. This is because there is no matching recipient policy.
4. The solution is to configure a new inbound recipient policy like below.

5. The quarantine email can be released successfully now.
