Description This article describes how the number of emails for unprotected domains that are allowed to relay through FortiMail might potentially affect the overall spam rate
Scope FortiMail.
Solution
  1. The current overall spam rate is around 77.1%.

  1. If the emails from unprotected domain to unprotected domain are allowed to relay through FortiMail without any scanning, it might potentially bring down the overall spam rate.
  2. By referring to the FortiMail’s log below, the emails from the unprotected domain to the unprotected domain are successfully relayed through the FortiMail.

  1. The emails from unprotected domains to unprotected domains are not configured to be scanned by FortiMail and eventually detected as not spam so it might potentially bring down the overall spam rate.
